Avoid the Hassle of Parking: Alternative Transportation

Parking at the University of Texas at Austin can be a major pain for students and faculty members. While the University offers nine garages and seven Longhorn Lots, it’s hard to understand why empty parking spaces are rare and hard to find. “I’ve heard that in the commuter parking lots there are six permits sold for each available spot,” says Casey Kelly, senior communication studies major. That is almost true.
